Parasailors are on the boat for approximately one hour, with a maximum of six passengers per trip (flying and non-flying.) Participants are winched on and off the boats hydraulically for safe and dry landings. However you may get dipped and get your feet wet by your request only. Dipping is at the sole discretion of captain for safety based on wind and sea conditions. The 1200 foot deluxe Maui Parasailing ride does include an optional simulated free fall where the boat speed is decreased so the participant can experience a parachute descent similar to jumping from a plane but stops short of contact with the water. The Maui Parasailing crew works with you to make you feel secure if you are a little nervous. If you want to have a little fun just let the crew know and the can put a little spark in your Maui Parasailing Ride.

Although the total time on the boat is approximately 1 hour, the individual parasail rides are either 7 minutes for 600 ft. or 10
minutes for 1200 ft. Time in the air remains the same for single or tandem rides.

There is no age requirement. However, participants must weight at least 130 pounds to fly alone and tandem flights are available with a maximum weight limit of 350 pounds (weight restrictions subject to change with the weather). All minors under the age of 18 must have a parent or
legal guardian sign consent forms at check-in for this activity.
