This Zodiac Whale Watch departs from Kihei and gets your right out to viewing the whales. Pods are spotted quickly so you will have plenty of time watching them play in the ocean. Close encounters of 100 yards or less sometimes require that we stretch a tour slightly to ensure the safety of the whales and to operate within federal regulations, so a little extra time has been allowed between tour departures. Free parking is available at the Kihei Boat Ramp. Morning departures offer calm conditons on Maui's south shore where visiting Humpbacks are prevalent and often seen teaching their young during these times.

Activity Details:

1.5 Hour Maui Whale Watch. Children ages 4 to 12 years old.

Daily 8:00am, 10:00am and 12:00pm

All passengers to bring towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat or visor and a light windbreaker for early morning departures. No head on board for changing.

This is the only boat on the island that the captain and crew will cut up enough fish for you and your party to enjoy a sumptuous seafood dinner! If you are interested in getting your catch mounted, that can arrange that for you.

Activity Details: 6 and 8 Hour Trips Depart 5:30am Daily, 4 Hour Trips Depart 12 noon or 2:00pm Daily. Please pack food and beverages for the day, all drinking items need to be in a can or plastic bottle. It is best to do this the night before as there’s not much open early in the morning. Please bring sunscreen, and and/or sunglasses, camera and other personal items!

Standup Paddle can be learned in one lesson and you can experience the coastline, views and tranquility of this activity. It's fun to do with friends, family or alone. Stand Up Paddling is an individual water sport that uses a style of paddling similar to that of the outrigger canoe, you stand upright on a specially designed board and use an elongated paddle to move along.

Beginner Group Lessons: Tthe students are outfitted with modern soft longboards, surfing booties, and a protective lycra t-shirt. The first half hour or so of your lesson is taught on the sand and in the flat water. The rest of your time is spent paddling in the warm water. Students are supervised and coached at all times!

Private Lessons: Sudents have the undivided attention from one of the professional surfing instructors! Instruction is focused with an aim to provide ideal learning conditions for aspiring individuals.

Due to their need for full time attention, Children 8 years old and younger are required to sign up for private or group lessons.

There are two Whale Watches offered daily. A Marine Naturalist shares information and facts about the Humpback Whales while you listen to their unique songs on our hydrophone.

Over a thousand Whales migrate from Alaska to Hawaii each year to birth their babies and rest in the warm waters. Watching these powerful animals breach wildly, slap their tail is quite an unforgettable experience!

Morning Whale Watch: 8am – 10am: Assorted freshly baked muffins, Tropical Fruit Platter, Freshly brewed coffee, Tropical juices and sodas

Afternoon Whale Watch: 4pm – 6pm: Grilled Chicken Strips, Summer rolls with Chili Sauce, Tortellini Pasta Salad, Mai Tais, Beer, wine and Non-alcoholic beverages.
